How I work

The course of an engagement

  1. 01

    Honest assessment

The first analysis also tells you what will not work: if the odds are poor or the costs outweigh the stakes, you learn it before committing, not along the way.

  2. 02

    Strategy and budget

We agree the objective, the steps and the fee (fixed, hourly or success-based, under art. 127 et seq. of the profession's Statute), in writing, from the start.

  3. 03

    Rigorous execution

Deadlines kept, evidence built methodically, documents drafted to withstand judicial scrutiny, not merely to be filed.

  4. 04

    Direct communication

You work with the lawyer who knows your file: regular updates, explanations without needless jargon, informed decisions.

Who I work with

Three kinds of clients, one standard of care

Companies

Real estate developers, construction contractors, suppliers, energy companies: contracts, permitting, site disputes, regulation.

Foreign investors

Groups and entrepreneurs from France, Italy, the Netherlands and other EU states: market entry, companies, real estate, contracts, all explained directly in your language.

Private individuals

Property and neighbours, dealings with the authorities, civil service: the same rigour, explained plainly, with costs announced upfront.

Describe your situation. I will come back with a first assessment.

The first discussion clarifies the legal framing, the possible steps and the estimated costs. Confidentiality is protected by legal professional privilege (art. 11 of Law no. 51/1995), whether or not we end up working together.
